The UK-based designer Jenny Packham, who made Miley Cyrus’s Oscar gown, is showing pieces from her newest line at Hannelore’s of Olde Town (106 N. Lee St., Alexandria; 703-549-0387). You can find gowns by Angel Sanchez and Elizabeth Fillmore this weekend at Carine’s Bridal Atelier (1726 Wisconsin Ave., NW; 202-965-4696). Sanchez, a Venezuelan designer, made Sandra Bullock’s wedding dress in 2005, and Fillmore, a Parsons graduate, is known for her modern designs. Appointments, which are required, are available Thursday 4 to 6, Friday 11 to 6, and Saturday 11 to 7.
