The team at the Web site Guest of a Guest took the plunge and ends 2011 by letting us know who they consider to be the “Hot Hundred” Washingtonians age 30 and under. “This is the first year we have done this list,” says Sophie Pyle, editor of Guest of a Guest, who plans to make it an annual compilation. “People on the list were picked because I had seen them around town,” she explains. “It’s a social list of people who are interesting and attractive.”

Pyle herself is a veteran of the local social scene, and is known for costarring in an almost cultish DC-based reality show—Blonde Charity Mafia—which was shot in 2009 and canceled before ever airing in America, but found a following in Australia and on the Web.

We’ve taken Pyle’s list, broken it down by industry, and added professional backgrounds to the names where we could.* We concede this is by no means scientific or definitive, and clearly it skews toward the North and West sides of DC, but it’s a fun list; one assumes those on it enjoy a party. There’s surely at least another 100 under-30s who qualify, and we hope to hear about them in 2012.
