Inauguration Aggregation

Welcome to your daily dose of inauguration news! Here are the headlines we’re reading this morning.

Metro is expecting a "crush load" of passengers on Inauguration Day. According to USA Today, "More than 1 million riders are likely to cram into Washington's subway cars…shattering the single-day record of 850,000 set this past July 4."

Since public transit basically won't be an option on Inauguration Day, why not try biking? The Washington Area Bicyclist Association is encouraging bike use on January 20 by offering two free bike valet stations near the National Mall.

Obama's teaming up with Spider-Man in Marvel Comic's Amazing Spider-Man #583, available in comic book shops nationwide on January 14.

Bracing for huge crowds, the National Museum of American History and the Smithsonian Castle will open at 8 AM on Inauguration Day, two hours earlier than usual.
