Washington is a great place to live for young adults fresh out of college, according to a new study by the Business Journals. Washington is ranked third after Austin, Texas, and San Jose, California.

No, it’s not because of the great bar selection. Washington’s high income levels and well-educated workforce set it apart from other areas.

The study ranked large metropolitan areas with populations more than 500,000 people. Check out the full list on the Business Journals website.
