Oh, how the plot continues to thicken in the Petraeus scandal, though we’re not even sure it can be called only the Petraeus scandal anymore. Maybe it should be the Petraeus-Broadwell-Kelley-Allen-AnonymousShirtlessFBIAgent scandal?
Until that’s decided, here’s a late-breaking curious tidbit that brings the drama back to Washington, DC: US News and World Report revealed today that a jogger found Paula Broadwell’s North Carolina driver’s license in Rock Creek Park. We don’t know whether the license got there before or after her weekend in Little Washington, Virginia, with husband Scott Broadwell. They checked out of the Middleton Inn on Saturday morning and said they were headed to DC.
We know Broadwell is a runner, so maybe she lost the license during an innocent run in the park. Or maybe it’s time to call the writers of Homeland to ask them to please stop messing with this plot.
