Hello to the cute woman who was reading her book tonight on the Orange/Blue line at about 11:45 tonight. You got on the train and we exchanged some smiles tonight. I was looking at my camera and thought you were really pretty, and sweet. I liked the butterflies on your shoes. Just know that sometimes nice guys out there just wonder what you are like and what kind of books you are reading on your way home. :-) You were a very interesting and cute woman. What is your story?
We hope this story has a happy ending.

To the very sweet gentleman who offered to help my daughter and me with our groceries on Thursday, I can’t thank you enough. And then when you came over again to help with the door, I almost wish my daughter hadn’t beaten you to it. Best—the redhead who lives in the building next to yours.
Maybe you should go next door for a little sugar?
Bang! 4/16. I said you were stunning.

Me: desperately in need of a haircut. You: wearing a lovely black knit dress, gathering your things before walking out of my life forever. “Do I need my jacket?” you asked. “Not at all,” I said. “It’s beautiful out, absolutely beautiful.” Each time I said beautiful, I was referring to you. I don’t know a thing about you, but your unpretentiousness and confidence and easy charm were intoxicating. You said, “Have a good haircut.” I said, “You’re stunning.” I shouldn’t have let you out of my sight.
Well, this guy definitely won’t take her for granted.

You left the metro car as I stood to one side, dressed in a blue striped shirt and dark jeans. I should have quickly blurted out how awesome your shirt was, and asked where I could get one equally as cool. Any chance you’d tell me where you got it, if you see this?
They could be matching match!
Happy commuter? - w4m - 23 (Orange to Vienna)

You are veeery tall and were standing right by the metro doors (on the orange line to vienna at 8:30ish), and you got off at Courthouse. I was coming home from a soccer game and I was extraordinarily muddy; I was the one bopping my head, trying to do pull-ups on the overhead handrails, and attempting not to get mud on strangers. Anyway, I was struck by how you looked so happy, even though you apparently work until 8:30 at night. So, what’s the deal, over-worker? Let’s get coffee; you can teach me your secret to happiness, and I’ll teach you my secret of.. how not to get mud on people.
Tell me what was on my shirt.
Was it... mud?

I really liked your green owl shirt, but what I really meant to say was that I really liked your whole look. You were too cute with your cap and beard. I should have joined you at your table and had my lunch with you -- it would have brightened up my dreary Monday.
What’s with the t-shirts this week?
