DC didn't do too shabbily over inauguration weekend—turns out that hotels in the area made $95 million in revenue

Via DCist, we see this horrible story from a rider on one of the NYC-DC bus lines.  The bus had a minor crash on North Capitol—and then a rep from the company showed up and tried to extract money from passengers as the paramedics were examining them.

Prosecutors want to send Marion Barry to jail for failing to file his tax returns—for the eighth time in nine years. 

The smoking ban is advancing in Virginia.
