Local Basketball Legend Here to Stay?

Washington Wizards shooting guard Roger Mason bought this five-bedroom, five-bath contemporary in Upper Marlboro for $882,000. The house is part of Oak Creek Club, a new gated golf community.

A Washington native, Mason was a basketball star at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Wheaton and played for the University of Virginia. After stints with the Chicago Bulls, the Toronto Raptors, and a European team, Mason was signed by the Wizards in 2006.
