America’s Next Top Model Is Casting in Washington This Saturday

Tall and short, male and female—everyone can take a chance at a spot on Cycle 22.

If you’re headed out to the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City for a bit of afternoon shopping this Saturday, you might notice an unusually high concentration of very good-looking people. On January 3 between 11 and 5, more than 1,000 men and women will be at the mall hoping for their shot at becoming America’s next top model.

Seeing as the regular height standards—which require women to be at or above 5 feet 6 inches and men to be at or above 5 feet 10 inches—do not apply this season, and the auditions are open to models of both genders, there’s little to hold back any models ages 18 to 27 from strutting their stuff on Saturday.

If you’re among the interested many, make sure to fill out the application, check out the show’s eligibility requirements, and print off three quality photos before arriving at the auditions. But be forewarned: the application is a ghastly 12-page document peppered with personal questions including “Describe you relationship with your father,” “What was the last time you hit, punched, kicked, or threw something in anger?” and even, “Have you ever been to a nude beach?”

The casting call will take place on the third floor of the Fashion Centre, which has hosted the auditions for the past eight years, and they’ll be judged by local stylist and former Real Housewives star Paul Wharton and fashion event planner Maggy Francois.

America’s Next Top Model casting call. Saturday, January 3, 11 AM to 5 PM. Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, 1100 S. Hayes St., Arlington, 703-415-2401.
