Not busy tonight? Now you are. Two fab shopping events kick off tonight in Georgetown and Tysons Corner, with more this weekend.
In the District: Georgetown’s United Colors of Benetton celebrates its colorful spring collection and all things pink tonight at its Pink Party. Swing by the M Street store for rosy refreshments, a style consultation from Spendalla stylist Wendy Pilch, and $25 off purchases of $200 and up. And finally: Instagram some shots of yourself in Benetton duds and tag them #BeYourSelfie to enter the brand’s contest. The grand prize? A $300 shopping spree. Thursday, 7 to 9 PM. 1200 Wisconsin Ave., NW.
In Virginia: Head to Tysons Corner for C. Wonder’s Spring Fling event, where the prep-perfect store offers up free treats and beverages, plus raffle prizes and shopping discounts—snag 20 percent off purchases of $100, and 25 percent off $150-plus. Thursday, 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Tysons Corner Center.
Hopefully you already scored your tickets for Gilt City’s Warehouse Sale. But if you missed that luxe-for-less boat, not to worry—we’ve got you covered with two more awesome Saturday shopping events:
In Maryland: Join Politics of Pretty beauty blogger Kara Manos as she hosts a shopping party at the Last Call by Neiman Marcus location in Rockville, where she’s picked out her spring must-haves. The store will offer light bites and drinks, plus a swag bag for the first 20 shoppers and a 30 percent discount for everybody. Saturday, 11 AM. Congressional Plaza, 1601-B Rockville Pike, Rockville.
In Virginia: Fairfax’s Mosaic District hosts a shopping “rendezvous”—pick up a Passport to Style, then work your way through the shopping center collecting stamps. Once you get five, return the passport to be entered to win a $1,000 shopping spree. Bonus: TONS of special events at the participating stores, from gratis hot chocolate at Artisan Confections to vacay-packing tips at Anthro to 15 percent off at South Moon Under. Saturday, 2 to 6 PM. 2910 District Ave., Fairfax.
