To Do: DC Fit Week
Score fitness deals and freebies all week long By Emily Leaman

Hold the phone—did you know DC Fit Week is going on right now? Through Saturday, you can take exercise classes and participate in health-and-fitness seminars at locations throughout the area. The best part: It's all free.

Some of the events are full, such as tonight's Zumba Class at Northwest Sport & Health, but you can still reserve a spot in others. Classes include aqua fitness, weight lifting, kickboxing, yoga, boot camp, and more. You can also sign up for group fun runs and, on Saturday, a 20-mile bike ride in Reston.

Fit Week organizers have also arranged a few money-saving health-and-fitness deals, such as discounted spa treatments, clothing, and workouts. Here's an easy one: "Like" the Sports Club/LA on Facebook, and you'll get a complimentary three-day, all-access pass to the Foggy Bottom mega gym. We think it's totally worth it, even if you just sit in a steam room the entire time.
