“Harry Benson: Being There,” shows how quick-thinking—and clicking—a photojournalist must be. Harry Benson was a wedding photographer in his native Glasgow until 1964, when he accompanied a little-known foursome called the Beatles to New York. He has lived in the US ever since. He spent much of the ’60s and ’70s covering politics and the civil-rights movement. He was a few feet from Bobby Kennedy when he died, photographed Martin Luther King’s funeral, and was with President Nixon when he resigned.
