Thanks to 21st-century technology, visitors now have access to one of the world’s most valuable 17th-century books. A new computer program lets readers “turn the pages” of the 1623 First Folio of William Shakespeare’s plays, which usually resides in a vault under lock and key. The digital display is a gift from Washington bibliophiles Albert and Shirley Small in honor of the Folger’s 75th anniversary.
