Tucson-based Calexico’s sound is an infectious fusion of indie rock, mariachi, and Americana. The duo collaborated with singer/songwriter Iron & Wine (a.k.a. Samuel Beam) on the 2005 EP In the Reins. Calexico has also worked with artists as diverse as Neko Case, Nancy Sinatra, and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
