The Ladies in Waiting Conference at Bowie State University is designed to encourage and inspire young women to take on roles of leadership as their HBCU's queen.
During the one-day conference, Queen to Queen will bring together high school seniors and college women in the Greater Washington-Metropolitan Area to provide them with the advice, guidance, and tools every effective leader needs beginning on Day One. The Ladies in Waiting Conference will cover topics ranging from public speaking to ethical decision-making and image management to platform development.
