Studio is about to launch a New Vaudeville Festival. Twenty-first century clowns known as “new vaudevillians” don’t put on silly makeup or wear baggy pants. They owe more to existentialist playwright Samuel Beckett than to the circus, but their acts are funny, even goofy at times. This is good fringe theater.
