Composer John Adams’s work “El Niño” takes as its subject the Nativity. It will be performed by the Choral Arts Society, with Norman Scribner conducting. Also performing are mezzo-soprano Leslie Mutchler and soprano Sharla Nafziger; three countertenors; and the Children’s Chorus of Washington.
