The Cuban missile crisis is the subject of The Titans, a docudrama having its world premiere July 18 through August 16. Playwright Robert McElwaine interviewed many people with firsthand knowledge of the 1962 confrontation among the United States, the Soviet Union, and Cuba. Jon Towson plays President Kennedy, John Tweel is his brother Bobby, and Kim-Scott Miller plays Nikita Khrushchev.
