Ace, a new musical set in Middle America in the 1950s, begins August 26. A toy plane given to a ten-year-old boy in foster care triggers fantasies of aerial dogfights in World War I and dangerous missions in World War II. The book and lyrics are by Robert Taylor and Richard Oberacker; the music is by Oberacker. Eric Schaeffer directs.
