The “Library of Congress Experience” continues to excite visitors, particularly the 34 new interactive stations that let you customize your visit—both online and in person. After you’ve set up a free account by typing an e-mail address into myloc.gov—at home or at the library—you can select which parts of the library’s big collection interest you most. If in person, you’ll be issued a “passport to knowledge,” a booklet that looks like a passport with a bar code that keeps track of what you see and do. It’s a way to save your “collection” for future reference and to play a game called Knowledge Quest—a treasure hunt around the building designed for fifth- through eighth-graders but enjoyed by many others. The computer stations are on the other side of the tunnel from the Capitol Visitor Center, in the Thomas Jefferson Building, 10 First St., SE.
