When Helen Hayes Award nominations were announced in February, chances are there were shows and performances on the list that you didn’t see. The Washington Area Performing Arts Video Archives (703-248-0026, wapava.org) taped some of the season’s best—The History Boys (Studio Theatre), Nixon’s Nixon (Round House Theatre), The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Forum Theatre at H Street Playhouse), and The Imaginary Invalid (Shakespeare Theatre).

The videos can be seen in two places: the Washingtoniana Division of DC’s Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library (901 G St., NW; 202-727-1213) and the James J. Taylor Collection in the Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library at the University of Maryland’s Clarice Smith Center (301-405-9220; ask for Vincent Novara).
