In the museum’s big entrance hall—the space reserved for paintings or sculpture by contemporary Asian artists—Anish Kapoor’s “S-Curve” fascinates visitors. Made of two 16-foot-long pieces of polished steel placed back to back to form a wall both convex and concave, the sculpture reflects viewers and the surrounding space—distorted by the metal’s curvature.
