“Red” looks at how the color is used as a symbol of love, power, status, and death. Examples include fragments of a Peruvian rug dating from 300 BC to 500 AD, 19th-century shawls made in Tunisia, and a portrait of Nancy Reagan in a red dress in the Red Room of the White House. Curator Rebecca A.T. Stevens leads a free tour of the exhibit February 3 at 11 a.m.
