Emmy Award winner Valerie Harper—a.k.a. Rhoda on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and her spinoff—channels movie actress Tallulah Bankhead in Arena Stage’s Looped, a pre-Broadway engagement at the Lincoln Theatre. Bankhead was known for her love affairs, outlandish exploits, and cutting wit. Matthew Lombardo’s play is set in a studio where she’s rerecording—or “looping”—a single line of dialogue for her last film, Die! Die! My Darling!
