Suits of armor, shields, helmets, and spears are on display in “The Art of Power: Royal Armor and Portraits From Imperial Spain,” which explores the time when the Spanish Imperial Army was at the height of its power. Included are paintings of rulers wearing the same armor, by Rubens, Velázquez, and other masters of the 16th and 17th centuries. Opens June 28.
