“An Antiquity of Imagination: Tullio Lombardo and Venetian High Renaissance Sculpture” opens July 4. Tullio (1455–1532), as he’s known, and his fellow Renaissance sculptors aren’t as famous as their contemporaries in painting. Tullio is especially known for his high-relief double portraits, “A Couple” and “Bacchus and Ariadne,” both included in this show. Sixth St. and Constitution Ave., NW; 202-737-4215; nga.gov.
