Second-generation Chinese-American poet Sze is a Guggenheim Fellow and the author of eight books of poetry. In his collection The Plum Flower Dance: Poems 1985 to 2005, Baltimore native Weaver arranges his poems according to the five-element theory in Chinese philosophy.
