This year's Capital City Symphony Family Concert is all about "What's in an Orchestra, Anyway?" Maestro Victoria Gau will take the audience on a musical tour of the orchestra, featuring works by Shostakovich, Copland, Britten, Bernstein, and more. Each performance is preceded by an instrument petting zoo, with members of the orchestra displaying their instruments and even letting the children try them! The concert itself includes a special program book just for the younger set and lots of audience interaction.
