The 12th Annual Heart Ball is an inspirational black-tie celebration of life, supporting the mission of the American Heart Association: building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. When you consider heart disease is the number one killer in the nation, with stroke not far behind at number three, this mission takes on a significance that is at once personal and universal. These diseases affect everyone – men, women and children. On February, 27, 2010, more than 600 of Greater Washington Region’s most prominent physicians, corporate, healthcare and community leaders will join together to ensure lifesaving research and programs continue to be funded to benefit Americans today and tomorrow. The Heart Ball is held at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. The evening event includes spectacular live and silent auctions, seated dinner, inspirational stories of survival and live music and dancing.
