Major exhibit of the French conceptual artist’s work, which crossed boundaries of painting, sculpture, photography, performance art, and beyond. Through a series of monochrome paintings, Klein—who died in 1962 at age 34—developed an ultramarine blue that’s now known as International Klein Blue.
