From its roots as a tavern that served its first drink in 1931, the Irish Inn at Glen Echo has become an area institution. With plaid booths, a 30-foot oak bar, several Irish favorites on tap, and live music three nights a week, it’s everything you’d expect from a pub in Dublin—without the bar fights: The older, neighborhood crowd is there to make conversation.
