On the first floor of the Hotel Monaco, Poste once housed the sorting room of the General Post Office. The renovated space has been transformed into a mod bar and restaurant with an open kitchen, 16-foot ceilings, and large, slanted mirrors. The outdoor courtyard—a dramatic space surrounded by limestone walls—is one of the best spots in DC for a drink.
