Dr. Camilla Hersh received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Michigan and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University Of Michigan Medical School. Her internship and OB/GYN residency were completed at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, an affiliate of the University of Michigan.
Dr. Hersh is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. She is also a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Society. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor for Georgetown University Medical School.
Dr. Hersh has diverse expertise, from routine care to advanced surgical procedures. She has delivered over 4,000 babies. Dr. Hersh is now one of the first physicians in our area to offer daVinci Robotically Assisted gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Hersh is particularly committed to bringing minimally invasive treatment options, including daVinci Robotic Surgery for women with problems such as abnormal bleeding, fibroids, pelvic pain, and pelvic organ prolapse. An open dialog with patients is always welcome, and individualized, personal care is her top priority.
Dr. Hersh has been honored and recognized every year since 2002 in the Washingtonian Magazine as one of the TOP DOCTORS, the result of surveys completed yearly by thousands of area doctors. She speaks conversational French. Dr. Hersh is married and has three children.

At Virginia Women’s Health Associates, Dr. Hersh has the pleasure of working with a personable and professional team: Dr. Jessica “Zoe” Zaret, Physician Assistant Amy Rembold, and Nurse Practitioner Lynn A. Chance.

Jessica "Zoe" Zaret, M.D. completed her residency in OB/GYN in the rigorous Uniformed Services program at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (Washington, DC) and National Naval Medical Center (Bethesda, MD) in 2004. She was selected for additional subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Zaret went on to complete 13 years of military service, caring for patients at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital. She is certified in the use of the daVinci robotic surgery system (minimally invasive surgery) and is skilled in tubal anastomosis (reversal of tubal ligation surgery).

Amy Rembold, PA-C received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA. Physician Assistants are health professionals who provide a wide range of responsibilities, including conducting physician exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, assisting in surgery, and prescribing medications. Amy is board certified and has a special interest in obstetrics and gynecology and especially in teen gynecologic health.

Lynn A. Chance, WHNP is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who received her Master of Science degrees in nursing at Vanderbilt University and is certified by the National Certification Corporation as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Lynn has over 15 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient obstetrical and gynecological care.
