Dr. Price is proud to have been included in the 2012 Washingtonian "Top Doctors" list. He has been included on every list that the magazine has created since the survey started over 20 years ago.
Surgical skill and aesthetic judgment are hallmarks of Dr. Price's practice. His primary focus is cosmetic surgery of the face and breasts as well as body contouring, including liposuction.
Dr. Price is currently the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Sibley Memorial Hospital and a member of the clinical faculty in Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University. He has spoken at local and national plastic surgery meetings and is listed in the "Best Doctors in America."
Dr. Price and his staff continuously work to maintain the utmost patient comfort and confidentiality.
Dr. Price is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the prestigious American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. His many professional society memberships include the National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Southeastern Society of Plastic Surgery, the Osler Society, and the Medical Societies of the District of Columbia, Fairfax County and Montgomery County.
Dr. Price is married and has two sons. He enjoys golf, tennis and skiing as well as reading biography and history.
Education:
A native of North Carolina, Dr. Price received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After receiving his M.D. degree from Wake Forest University, he completed his surgical training at George Washington University, his plastic surgery training at the world famous Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at New York University and then completed a Facial Reconstruction Fellowship at the University of Miami. Dr. Price trained under many noted plastic surgeons, including Thomas Rees, Joe McCarthy, Daniel Baker, Sherrell Aston and Anthony Wolfe.
During his surgical training and practice in Washington and New York, Dr. Price has had the privilege of taking care of many prominent patients. None, however, more interesting than the day Dr. Price was the first surgeon to see President Ronald Reagan when he was shot.
