About
Dr. Weiss is a highly skilled cataract and glaucoma surgeon. His colleagues consult him regularly for his expertise in surgery and laser treatment; more than 50% of his patients are referred to him by other physicians. Among his patients are other doctors, including other ophthalmologists who perform cataract and glaucoma surgery. He has repeatedly been an invited instructor at cataract surgery courses offered by the American Academy of Ophthalmology for continuing education of practicing ophthalmologists. His expertise with astigmatic and multifocal lens implants has provided improved vision and freedom from eyeglasses for many of his cataract patients.

His practice encompasses all of general ophthalmology and is complemented by teaching at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Georgetown University, and the Washington Hospital Center and by his involvement with two research studies sponsored by the National Eye Institute of the National Institutes of Health.
