Basketball fans have lots of great TV to watch in March. Catch some of the NCAA tournament games at one of the area’s sports bars, where multiple screens ensure that you don’t miss any of the action.

Bailey’s Pub and Grille
There’ll be daily drink specials throughout the tournament at this Arlington mainstay. On Saturdays, there are $3.25 Miller pints, $4 20-ounce Samuel Adams drafts, and $16 Miller Lite buckets. On Sundays, enjoy $4 Smirnoff Bloody Marys and $6 Budweiser drinks. There are 48 TVs, mostly all high-def plasma screens, with 14 jumbo high-def screen projectors.

BlackFinn
This Bethesda pub is offering game-day menus, $20 beer towers, $10 pitchers, and $3 Miller Lite drafts. With the Direct TV March Madness package, all the games will be available.

Buffalo Billiards
Duke and Michigan fans, this is the bar for you. Alumni from both schools are known to gather here to watch the games. Drink specials include $3 Bud Lights and $3.50 Sam Adams and Samuel seasonal beers, and there are also wing specials. With six high-def projection televisions and 20 additional TVs, including plasmas with DirecTV, you can watch every game during the tournament.

Crystal City Sports Pub
There are more than 100 TVs at this bar, a big gathering spot for at least ten alumni groups, including UNC, USC, ASU, Washington, and Maryland. Food specials include bar-menu items for $5.99 to $9.99.

ESPN Zone
This mother of all sports bars (watch out: it’s also going to be the most crowded) has more than 250 TVs on three levels, including a 16-foot screen. Join the free MVP club online, and reserve priority seating when your team plays. There’s a $10 food-and-beverage minimum per person per hour per game.

Fast Eddie’s
There are two floors and 32 TVs to choose from here, so you’re guaranteed to catch every shot, pass, and block.

Mister Days
Mister Days is offering food and drink specials during March Madness. Thursdays, imported beers are $2.50 and pizzas $5. Fridays, there are $5 Red Bull rail drinks, five Sam Adamses for $15, and a $5 food menu. Throughout the week are other food specials, pony buckets, and $2.50 Miller Lute drafts during games, plus more than 65 TVs, all high-def flat screens, with two large projection screens. During the tournament, there will be giveaways and door prizes such as tickets to see Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay. 

Nellie’s
In addition to holding a bracket contest with cash prizes, Nellie’s has 12 flat-screen TVs, two stadium-size screens, and four bars. The Beat the Clock $3 drink special will be extended past 8 PM, and there will also be food specials.

O’Sullivan’s
All of the tournament’s games will be shown on the five high-def TVs during March Madness. Specials include $1 off all draft beers, pitchers of Miller Lite for $7 from 4 to 8:30 , and half-price food Monday through Friday.

Penn Quarter Sports Tavern
All ESPN Fullcourt pay-per-view games will be shown on the ten 60-inch, high-def TVs throughout the two levels of this downtown DC tavern. Drink specials include $4 23-ounce Miller Lite drafts, $5 Blue Moon drafts, $10 Miller Lite pitchers, $15 margarita pitchers, $13 mixed pitchers, $3 shooter of the day, $6 Captain Morgan and José Cuervo drinks, and $20 Captain and Cuervo pitchers.

Rocket Bar
Three full bars! Seventeen high-def TVs! Rocket Bar is a good place to be if you’re in Chinatown during the games. Miller Lite is sponsoring the Miller Lite Bracket Challenge at Rocket Bar, with prizes including Bruce Springsteen tickets, iPods, and Miller merchandise. Pick up your brackets at Rocket Bar Monday through Wednesday before the tournament. Brackets must be turned in by March 18. There are $3 Miller Lites during NCAA tournament days ending at 9 PM.

Union Pub
Drink specials include $3 Bud and Bud Light bottles and $14 buckets of five beers. These specials will be running all day for each day of the tournament. Union Pub has four 50-inch plasma TVs, a 78-inch large-screen TV, a 100-inch projection screen, four 20-inch plasmas, and eight 30-inch TVs. The bar will also be hosting its own “best bracket” game—the winner gets a beer happy hour for 25 people.

Union Jack’s
Both the Bethesda and Ballston locations are offering $10 pitchers of Bud Light and specials on wings and burgers during March Madness. Ballston is also offering $1.50 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon for those wearing college colors.
