Where do you like to hang out? My newest place is Zengo. I’ll go after work to the lounge. You’ll find lots of lawyers there.

Got a signature drink? Cosmopolitan. It’s refreshing but not too strong.

What’s your best beauty secret? Genetics. My mother has fabulous skin and looks 20 years younger than she is. I try to get a professional facial once a month.

What do most people not know about you? I take a lot of pride in being a first-generation daughter of immigrants. My mother is from Jamaica, and my father is from Trinidad. My parents came to this country expecting the American dream. They didn’t have an education. They can look at me and my siblings and see the fruits of their labor.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve done? In Kenya, I stayed on an island without electricity or running water. My friends and I slept in elevated treehouses for two nights. There were makeshift beds. Bats flew in. We washed with a bucket of soap and water.

Your favorite item in your closet? Overpriced, designer jeans. I have Sevens, Citizens, Rock & Republics. My closet is filled with them.
