Clothes That Work: Sarah Lenti

By Alycia Kilpatrick

Seven women who always look professional talk about dressing for success—where they shop, what they’re buying, and outfits that go from office to cocktails

Senior adviser, Bryan Cave Strategies

Office style: “Classy chic. I strive to look put-together and neat.”

Day-to-night look: “I’m a huge fan of work dresses. This season, I’ll look for a new work-to-date dress by Oscar de la Renta—I love one from the spring collection that’s sleeveless with a wide belt. And lipstick is key—either Laura Mercier’s Shimmer Lip Colour in Quartz, a deep reddish-brown, or Tanarama by MAC, a light frosty nude.”

Attention-getting work accessories: “I wear V-neck shirts with great beaded necklaces and, in the summer, cuff bracelets coupled with sleeveless tops.”

Favorite stores for work clothes: “Proper Topper for original suits, Sisley, and Banana Republic.”
