Head to the new Bloomingdale’s in Chevy Chase for a shoe event with representatives from the Kate Spade and KORS Michael Kors lines. They’ll be showing off their new fall fashions—plus there’ll be a foot reflexologist and a DJ spinning tunes as you browse.

Third Thursdays on U Street
The third Thursday of every month, MidCityLive! puts on a Thursday Shopper Social in the retail area around 14th and U streets, Northwest. Boutiques and other stores offer discounts, socializing, snacks, and drinks from 5 to 8 PM.

There will also be free Champagne for part of the evening, giveaways, and plenty of DJ sets to get you dancing as well as appreciating local designers and fashionistas. Free before 10 PM, $10 after.
