Lunch & Dinner Feasts

There’s nothing like the pizza at Tommy Marcos Ledo Restaurant—not even the pizza at the innumerable Ledos scattered throughout the region, which are franchised offshoots of the Adelphi original, a mistake the Marcos family probably has come to regret. The pizzas ($5.95 for a small cheese pizza, $12.95 for a large) might look the same, but if you haven’t eaten at Tommy Marcos, you haven’t had the authentic experience.

Don’t come here looking for an elegant pie with prime, carefully sourced ingredients—if you want boutique pizza, head elsewhere. And don’t expect a pie that hews to the popular New York or Chicago model. You’re here for the biscuity, rectangular crust, the sweet tomato sauce, the layer of smoked provolone—a true hometown original.
