The Cleveland Park outpost has the look of an undersea hideaway and is twice the size of the tiny Bethesda original. It also has a bar and a larger menu. Besides sushi and sashimi, there’s a roster of specialty rolls—we like the Macomb, with snapper, sesame seeds, and eel sauce atop a California roll—as well as house creations such as baked green mussels and avocado with a kanikama-ebi mixture (crab stick and shrimp) and spicy sauce.
