A neighborhood pub for burgers and beer.

Every neighborhood should have a friendly pub for a beer and burger. The subterranean dining rooms at Chadwicks provide a haven for neighborhood residents in winter, the patio in spring and summer. The burger here is a half pound of charbroiled beef, thick, juicy, and cooked as ordered. The cheeseburger is $7.50 on the menu, but without cheese it's only $6.95--if you order Chadwicks Super Deal, you get a a soda, coffee, or tea thrown in. The French fries are fine. There are also soups, salads, and other kinds of sandwiches, but the burger is the reason to go to Chadwicks.
