This is the most well rounded of the counter-service Afghan spots, with lots of veggie-friendly entrées. We like the delicate, leek-filled dumplings and the sampler of fried eggplant, spinach, and sautéed pumpkin topped with tangy yogurt. Sides—crisp green salad, spiced chickpeas—also stand out. Carnivores, don’t miss the aromatic shami kebabs, seasoned ground beef broiled over charcoal.
