While this shop describes its pizzas as “a slice of New York,” you won’t find the cheese-dripping, fold-in-half triangles sold on Manhattan corners. But what you do find is pretty good. Chef/owner Todd Wiss, former executive chef at Black’s Bar and Kitchen, took over the ovens less than a year ago, and his crusts are crisp and smoky.
Craft your own pizza with toppings such as ricotta or soppresatta, or try one of Wiss’s creations. Our favorites include the Piaggio, with fresh basil and sun-dried tomatoes, and the Ducati, a spicy one with house-made Italian sausage, roasted red peppers, and red onion (small pizzas $12 to $13, large $16 to $17). Two people visiting Radius on Wednesday can get a free bottle of wine with a large pizza and appetizer; any day between 5 and 7, a slice of cheese and a pint of beer are $5.
Open Monday through Friday for dinner, Saturday and Sunday for brunch and dinner.
