The minty spanakopita ($5.95) and its spinachless cousin tiropita ($5.95) are sizable appetizers; served as a platter ($8.95) with tomatoey green beans and orzo, they’re full meals.

No wonder the unlikely vegetarian gyro ($6.50) has a cult-like following: Hearty tofu “steak” strips taste almost like the real thing, thanks in part to a handful of briny feta, a smart replacement for traditional tzatziki.
