Glittery upholstery and copper-framed mirrors lend a luxe vibe to this restaurant in Old Town’s Lorien Hotel. While not as formal as Marcel’s—owner Robert Wiedmaier’s flagship in DC’s Foggy Bottom—the atmosphere befits a special occasion, and with such standouts as five-spice Pekin duck breast and knockout pastas, the food delivers. For a more casual experience, head next door to the tiny, no reservations Tasting Room for oven-fired tarts, pots of mussels, and Belgian brews.
Don’t miss: Grilled octopus with fingerlings and piquillo peppers; spaghetti with tomatoes, burrata, and basil oil; Fells Point bistro filet with fries and green-peppercorn sauce; ice creams and sorbets. In the Tasting Room, five-onion soup; bacon-and-goat-cheese mussels.
Brabo Open: Daily for breakfast and dinner. Tasting Room Open: Daily for lunch and dinner. Moderate to expensive.
