MUSIC: Indie rock band The National are dropping by the Merriweather Post Pavilion tonight. The band’s song “Think You Can Wait” was recently featured in the film Win Win. You can sample some of their tracks here. For tickets ($30 to $40), go to Merriweather’s Web site. Doors open at 5 PM.

COMEDY: Gay-larious is back at the Riot Act, and tonight’s performance is jam-packed with gay-friendly comics from across the country—including Brad Loekle, Claudia Cogan, Chris Doucette, and Zach Toczynski. The first Wednesday of every month will be dedicated to Gay-larious. For tickets ($15), go to the Riot Act’s Web site. 8:30 PM.
