Truck Stops: October 4

Every morning, we’ll let you know where to find lunch on wheels

Morning, readers! Lots of trucks are giving away freebies and showing off new items today, so it’s a good time to check them out. Sang on Wheels will be at Franklin Park handing out free sticky rice with mango to its first ten customers. Basil Thyme will be in the State Department area, introducing such fall menu items as butternut-squash lasagna and pumpkin-pie cannoli. BBQ Bus is trying out fire-roasted corn salad and beef chili, and Kabob Bites has a five for $5 special on vegetarian samosas. Finally, Food Truck Fiesta reports that Rolls on Rolls, an Indian cuisine food truck, will make it debut today at Farragut Square. Customers will receive a free mango lassi with every kathi roll.
