Washingtonian’s Style Setters 2009

For this year’s “best dressed” feature, we set out to find confidently fashionable Washingtonians. These 18 men and women are comfortable in their skin and know what makes them look good.

For this year’s “best dressed” feature, we set out to find confidently fashionable Washingtonians. These 18 men and women are comfortable in their skin and know what makes them look good. There are other bright fashion lights in Washington (hello, Desirée Rogers), but this mix of well-known and under-the-radar style devotees shows that Washington isn’t, as the joke goes, “Hollywood for ugly people.” We also asked those who know our style setters what makes their sartorial choices so special.
