Dr. Paul Schwartzman graduated from Georgetown University in 1982, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry. Dr. Schwartzman earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in 1986. Immediately upon graduating from dental school, Dr Schwartzman received his commission into the United States Navy, where he proudly served in Washington, DC, Rota, Spain and Quantico, Virginia. During his tenure in the Navy, Dr Schwartzman received numerous medals and commendations and was handpicked to serve the prestigious HMX-1 Presidential Support Team. In 1995, after resigning his Lieutenant Commander Commission, Dr. Schwartzman established his practice in Gaithersburg, MD and later relocated to Rockville.
For the last few years, Dr. Schwartzman has proudly served on the Dominican Dental Mission Project in San Jose de Ocoa, Dominican Republic. Every year we return to Ocoa, and with the help of family and friends, Domican and American alike, we provide dental care to a less fortunate, underserved population.
Most recently, Dr. Schwartzman became a preceptor in the Bale Doneen Method, a comprehensive and scientific approach to preventing cardiovascular disease. The Bale Doneen Method facilitates physicians and dentists working closely together toward the common goal of ultimate health.
